Fitness expert from Monaghan says get moving for mental health

People are being advised to keep moving for both their mental and physical health.

With current restrictions forcing people to limit their outdoor exercise and some unable to leave their homes at all, we are being reminded that activity of some kind is important.

While many people may not have access to gym equipment, local gyms across the region are urging everyone to get creative and use what they have in their homes in order to incorporate some exercise into the day.

Home workouts are available online for all ages and abilities, with people also asked to work within their limits to avoid injury.
