Flooding expected as Storm Dennis approaches

Flooding and gusts of up to 110 kilometres per hour are expected over the weekend as Storm Dennis approaches.

Cathal Nolan, from Ireland’s Weather Channel, says he expects a lot of rainfall over Saturday and that flooding is expected because the ground is already saturated and rivers are swelled from Storm Ciara.

He added that we will see the first impact of Storm Dennis tomorrow morning, and that it will continue through to Monday.
