Founder of Silver Hill Foods, Ronnie Steele dies

The founder of Silver Hill Foods, Ronnie Steele has died. The former manager of the family-run business passed away on Saturday.

Founding the duck farm with his wife Lyla in the 1960s, the Emyvale brand is now managed by their son Stuart and is recognised around the world for exporting duck products.

His funeral will take place in St Mary’s Church Glennan, Glaslough, tomorrow at 2.30pm.
