Frustration main talking point of new GAA Rules

Both Cavan and Monaghan had winning starts to their Bank Of Ireland Dr. Mc Kenna cup campaigns last weekend with Malachy O’Rourkes side accounting for Antrim by 1-20 to 1-12 while Mickey Graham got his term as Breffni manager off to the perfect start with a 13 point to 1-09 win over Down.

Both sides will be back in action this Sunday with Monaghan welcoming the students of St Marys to St Tiernachs Park Clones while Cavan will also face 3rd level opposition with Queens the visitors to Ballyconnell.

The competition is also been used to trial a number of new rules, with the restriction in hand passes the main talking point.
