FSAI issues recall of sausages produced in Cavan

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) have issued a recall of a batch of sausages produced in County Cavan in which listeria was detected.

The recall effects ready to eat smoked pork sausages made by Rimantas Meats, Belturbet, Co. Cavan. As a precautionary measure, all batches of the sausages have been recalled. The product was mainly sold in food markets in the North East region.

Consumers have been advised not to consume the product, while businesses stocking the product have been asked to remove the product from sale.
