Gardaí appeal for information after numerous local businesses broken into

Gardaí are appealing for the public’s help after a number of businesses were broken into across Cavan and Monaghan last month.

At around 2am on July 8th, Coral Leisure in Monaghan town was burgled.

Around an hour later, The Olde Post Inn in Cloverhill was broken into. The culprits stole the CCTV hard drive from the premises.

Skelly’s Shop in Ballyjamesduff was burgled at around 4am on the same day, with a large quantity of cigarettes stolen. In this case it’s believed a number of men, travelling in a black Audi estate were involved.
