Gardaí are attending a single vehicle collision between Butlersbridge and Cloverhill.
The incident is understood to have occurred just after 4 o’clock.
The N54 is currently closed with diversions in place.

The road is expected to remain closed for a number of hours while ESB crews work to remove power lines from the scene.
