It follows the decision by the US, the UK and France to launch missiles at suspected chemical weapons facilities in Syria.
Russia and Iran have condemned the attack.

The military action comes just weeks after a host of western governments, including Ireland, expelled Russian diplomats over the nerve agent incident in Salisbury.
