Glanbia saw its total group profits drop to over €98 million in the first half of 2018.
This represented a decrease of over €16 million for the same period last year, according to the group’s results for the six-month period ending on Saturday June 30th.
The food group says profits fell from over €114 million during the first half of 2017 to €98 million during the first six months of this year.
Revenue from continuing operations was €1.1 billion, which was a year-on-year increase of 3.6 per cent.
Glanbia managing director Siobhán Talbot says the company “delivered in line with expectations”.
