Listen Back: Concerns raised over average speed cameras on N3. A local councillor expressed concern over the average speed cameras installed recently on the N3.
Cllr Brendan Fay welcomed the cameras and anything that can assist with road safety but believes they need to be in a different position to take in the area of the N3 that runs up to the Belturbet Roundabout.
He says the current issue is that a lot of motorists are now speeding up when they know they are out of the average speed camera system area of the N3.
