Alan McElwaine passed away on Saturday 18th July 2026, in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda.
Predeceased by his sister Lorna and brother Ken.
Deeply missed by his loving family: his beloved wife, Verna, his much-loved daughters, Vivien, Alma and Karen, his sons-in-law, Gary, Donal and Alan, and his cherished grandchildren, Daniel (Rachel), Rachel, Dylan, Oisin, Ryan, Eoin, Liam and Conor.
Fondly remembered by his sister Joyce, his brother-in-law Donald, his sister-in-law Susan, his nieces, nephews, cousins, the wider family circle, and his many friends.

Alan will repose in his daughter Vivien’s house (A92 F7H2) on Wednesday 22nd from 4pm to 8pm. Removal on Thursday 23rd to Trinity Presbyterian Church, Bailiebourgh, Co Cavan (A82 HT62) for 12 o'clock Service and burial afterwards in Urcher graveyard. House private at all other times.
