Bernadette (Bertie) Murtagh née Cahill died on the 30th May 2026 peacefully at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her daughter Brianán.
Forever loved and missed by her sons; John (Monica), P.J. and Philip (Cindy), daughters Catherine (Steve), Regina (Vinny), Linda (Pat) and Elaine (Tony), grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters-in-law; Marjorie Cahill and Liz Cahill, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Clarke's Funeral Home, Bailieborough (A82 W2H7) on Monday 1st June from 3pm - 6pm. Funeral to arrive at St. Anne's Church, Bailieborough on Tuesday morning for Funeral Mass at 11:30am followed by cremation at Lakeland's Crematorium, Cavan (H12 RF78). Bertie's Funeral Mass can be viewed live via St. Anne's Church Webcam.
