Bernadette Connolly (née Farrell) passed away peacefully on Monday, December 29th 2025 in the wonderful care of nurses and staff of Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda.
Predeceased by her parents, Pat and Sadie; son, Patrick; and brother, Pete.
Deeply regretted and remembered lovingly by her devoted family, husband Anthony, daughters Mary (Raymond) and Martina (Darren) her cherished grandchildren James (Alison), Nicole (Cian), Daniel, Naomi, Grace, Liliana, Matthew and Luke, her adored great grandson Jackson, sisters Mary (Terry Mc Guinness), Sarah (Seamus Mc Dermott) and Winnie (Tommy Gargan), brother Pat (Mary Farrell), sister in-law Kathleen Farrell, brother in-law Alexis (Marion Connolly), cousins, nieces, nephews extended family, neighbours and friends.
May Bernadette’s Gentle Soul Rest In Eternal Peace
Bernadette will repose at her home in Coolmannon, Doohamlet from 2pm both tomorrow Tuesday and Wednesday, with removal from the residence on Thursday morning at 10:30am to arrive at All Saints Church Doohamlet for funeral mass at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to St. Mary’s Castleblayney Patient Comfort Fund, C/o Wards Funeral Home or by donation box.
House private to family and friends on Thursday morning only please.
Please note there will be a shuttle bus in operation during reposing times from Doohamlet cross.
