Bernie Kiernan (née Smith) passed away on Monday, July 20th 2026. Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her parents Paddy and Nuala, sister-in-law Bridie and nephew Thomas.
Deeply regretted by her loving husband and best friend Philip, her much loved children Dwayne (Sarah), Louise (Ahab) and Amy and her adoring grand-daughter Birdie.
Sadly missed by her sister Trish, aunt Mai McDonagh, uncle Phil Cullen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Lakeland's Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, tomorrow Tuesday from 6pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Removal from her home on Wednesday to arrive at St. Dympna's Church, Upper Lavey for Funeral Mass at 12noon, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu of flowers to Cavan Palliative Care, in care of PJ Brady, Funeral Director. The funeral mass can be viewed on Stradone Funeral Directors facebook page.
