My deepest condolences to Brendan, and extended family.I remember Eamon so well from school and in subsequent years so many pleasure able meeting in his favourite pubs.He was so intelligent with an incredible memory for detail days and dates, and a great storyteller and so popular among his friends and colleagues.I met him briefly in Cavan General some weeks before Christmas and never for a moment thought it would be the last time I'd see him.He was a gentle man, well mannered, loyal and discreet and I for one will miss not seeing or hearing him again.May his gentle soul Rest In Peace and may God give Brendan the strength and comfort to deal with his loss.
