Eileen Flanagan (nee McDermott) died on Thursday 1st January 2026. Peacefully in Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her husband, John.
Cherished and adored mother of Jim, Ronnie (Marie), Leo (Geraldine), Keiran (Sue), Margaret (Freddie), Helen (Thomas), Paul, Allan (Mairead). Eileen will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, neighbours, friends and by all who knew and loved Eileen.

Eileen will repose at Martin's Family Room, Newbliss, H18C962 on Friday evening (2nd) from 4pm to 6pm with removal at 6.30pm to the Sacred Heart Church, Clones arriving for 7pm. Eileen’s Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday (3rd) at 11am, followed by Cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.
