Elizabeth Donohoe died peacefully on Tuesday, December 30th 2025, surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the staff of Cavan General Hospital.
Pre-deceased by her beloved, husband, Michael (Mickey); her dear grandson, Oran; parents, Terence and Bridget Comiskey; and her sister, Gretta O'Brien. Deeply regretted by her loving sons, Martin (Caroline) and Seamus (Ann); daughters, Geraldine (Mark), Claire (David), and Teresa (Stephen); adored grandchildren, Ciarán, Sarah, Kiara, Regan, Caolan, Rachel, Charlie, Hollie, Aoife, Amy, Niamh and Éabha; sisters, Rosie Reilly, Lena Kerrisk, Bridie Comiskey, Tess O'Loughlin and Veronica Smith; sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.
Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan on Thursday evening from 5 pm until 8 pm. Removal on Friday morning to St Matthew’s Church, Drumavaddy to arrive for Requiem Mass at 12.00 noon. Interment afterwards in Old Cemetery. House private to family, neighbours and close friends.
