Esther (Essie) Gillespie née Turner, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday the 17th of April 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her husband Joe Gillespie and recently by her son Trevor Gillespie and sister Sue Hamill.
Sadly missed by her loving son's Adrian (Sharleen), Clive (Libby), daughter-in-law Carol, cherished grandchildren Stephen (Libby), Gary (Tanya), Donna (Colm Nix), Gayle (Malcolm Drury), Averyl (Fionan Cahill), Jason, Tommy and Lucy, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.
Resting at her home Mullaghboy, Cootehill, Co. Cavan (H16XV52) on Saturday the 18th of April 2026 from 3pm until 8pm.
House private to family on the morning of the funeral please.
Funeral cortege will leave Esther's residence on Sunday the 19th of April at 1:30pm to arrive at Drung Parish Church of Ireland for funeral service at 2pm followed by interment in the adjoining graveyard.
Family flowers only please, donations if so desired in lieu of flowers to Drung Parish Church of Ireland C/O George Hall Funeral Director or any family member.
