Francis Treanor passed away on Monday, 5th January, 2026. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in Cavan General Hospital and called home by God.
Predeceasd by his wife, Monica; and brothers, Paudge, Danny and John.
Sadly missed by his children, Diane (Patrick), Fiona (Finian), Josephine (Kamel), Paul (Donna-Marie), Pamela (Conor), Jacinta and Joanne (Alan); grandchildren, Abdullah, Zaynab, Muneer, Cathal, Mícheál, Fergal, Oscar, Florence, Lewis, Tiernan and Clóda; and by his siblings, Tom, Meg, Briege, Gabriel, and Helen; brothers and sisters-in-law, the extended Treanor family and close friends.
Francie's remains will repose at his home on Wednesday from 3pm - 9pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday morning at 11am at St. Patrick's Church, Tyholland. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery alongside his beloved wife Monica.
Please note, there is no parking at Francis' home, there will be a shuttle bus in operation from Tyholland Community Centre, H18 T384.
