Hughie McElvaney died on Wednesday, 1st October, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his parents Hugh and Lilian, and his sisters; Mary, Margaret and Rose.
Beloved father of Fionnuala, Emmet, Stephen and Conor.
Sadly missed by his loving family, his brother P.J., sister Bridie, son in law, daughters in law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at his home on Thursday (02/10/2025) from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. and on Friday (03/10/2025) from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m.
Shuttle bus in operation from Corcaghan Church. (H18VN26)
House private at other times please.
Removal on Saturday (04/10/2025) at 10.30 a.m., arriving at St. Michael’s Church, Corcaghan for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m.
Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
