Joe (Joel) Carson passed away on Thursday, 20th November 2025. Peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family, at St. Vincent's Hospital, Dublin.
Pre-deceased by his parents Edward and Mabel and step-mother Edith.
Much loved husband of Sylvia, adored father of Stephen, Niall, Barry and Peter, grandad of Joshua, George, Lana, Charlie, Tom, Henry, and Chloe. Lovingly remembered by his sisters; Irene and Evelyn and daughters-in-law; Tara, Jennifer, Rosie, Shona, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan H12 RF78 Tuesday from four o’clock until eight o’clock, with prayers to follow. Funeral Service at Croghan Presbyterian Church, Killashandra, Co. Cavan H12 X983 on Wednesday at one o’clock, followed by Committal in the adjoining Graveyard. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to RNLI c/o Clive Magee Funeral Directors or any family member.
