Josie (Josephine) Murphy died on Friday, January 9th 2026. Peacefully, at Drumbear Nursing Home, Monaghan.
Predeceased by her mother, Maggie; her father, Packie; brother, Tommy; and sister, Phyllis.
Josie is deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by her brother Francie, extended family, neighbours, and friends.

Josie will repose at Ward’s Funeral Home, Castleblayney (A75 NP30), on Monday morning, January 12th, from 10:00am All welcome.
Josie's funeral cortège will leave Ward’s Funeral Home at 11:25am, on Monday arriving at St. Patrick’s Church, Oram, for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. House strictly private, please.
