Margaret (Peggy) McCaffrey (née Flood) passed away on Wednesday, June 17th, 2026. Peacefully at Mullinahinch House Nursing Home.
Predeceased by her husband James, her parents Cassie and Patrick and her brother Eugene Flood.
Sadly missed by her sons Patsy (Mary) and Brendan (Joan), daughter Kathleen McGinley (Patrick), grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, sister in law Mary Flood, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at the premises of McElvaney Funeral Directors, Church Square, Monaghan on Wednesday (17/06/2026) from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Thursday (18/06/2026) from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Removal from her residence on Friday (19/06/2026) at 10.30 a.m. arriving at St. Dympna’s Church, Tydavnet for funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
