Mary King died on Thursday, 4th December 2025. In her 89th year.
Peacefully, surrounded by her cherished family, in the wonderful care of the management & staff of Killanny House, Castleross Nursing Home, Carrickmacross.
Predeceased by her son Francis, her parents; Patrick & Bridget and her brother Tommy.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by her beloved family; her brother Paddy and her sister Kathleen Casey, her sister-in-law Rosaleen, her nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, friends, neighbours and her many dear friends in Killanny House.
Mary will repose at the Oratory, Castleross Nursing Home on Friday, 5th December, from 5pm until 8pm.
Mary's funeral cortège will leave the Oratory on Saturday, 6th December, proceeding via Tavey's Cross to St. Patrick's Church, Broomfield, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining old Cemetery.
No flowers please, donations in lieu, if desired, via donation box c/o Lonergan Funeral Directors to the Patient Comfort Fund, Killanny House, Castleross Nursing Home.
