Michael A (Mick) Duffy passed away on Monday, 5th January 2026. Peacefully, surrounded by his cherished family, in the exceptional care of the staff of Newgrange ward, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Mary and son Colm & his parents Pat & Mamie.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by his beloved family; his son Paul (Breda) & his daughters Catriona (Luke Carroll) & Olivia (Turlough Keenan), his much-loved grandchildren; Dearbhla, Eoghan, Cliodhna, Edel, Padraig, Dara, Emer, Ciara, Abbey & Michael, his brother Paddy, his sisters-in-law; Betty Duffy, Bernadette Toolan & Deirdre Hunt, his nephews, nieces, extended family, friends & neighbours.

Mick will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, A81 D328, on Wednesday, 7th January, from 4pm until 8pm.
Funeral cortège will leave his home, 'Penny Bridge', Mullinary, on Thursday, 8th January, proceeding on foot via the Pound, the Bridewell & Main Street to St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
