Michael (Mick) Joyce, Retired Garda Sergeant and retired Church Sacristan, passed away Peacefully, on Friday 8th May 2026, surrounded by his cherished family, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.
Predeceased by his parents Tom & Julia, his sisters Mary & Nancy, his brothers John, Stephen, Francis & Patsy and his infant children Thomas, Lucy & Francis.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by his beloved wife Kathleen, his daughters Olive, Fiona (Mike) & Jacinta (Patrick) and his sons Fr Stephen & Michael, his sister-in-law Josie, his nephews, nieces, neighbours & friends.

Mick will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, A81 D328, on Saturday, 9th May, from 5pm until 8pm and on Sunday, 10th May, from 4pm until 8pm.
Mick's funeral cortège will leave his home, Drumgoan, on Monday, 11th May, driving to the Convent Hill and from there proceeding on foot to St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, A81 K253, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
