Monsignor Michael Cooke, passed away on Saturday May 16th. Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his parents Edward and Johanna, brother Liam, brother in law Tommy, sisters in law Margaret and Mary.
Sadly missed by his sister Anna May and brother Eamon, his long time housekeeper and best friend Cáit, Bishop Martin Hayes, Bishop Emeritus Leo O’Reilly, fellow priests, his wide circle of family and many many friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at his home 15 Meadow Park, H12FX07, Sunday from 2pm until 7pm. Removal to arrive to the Cathedral of Ss.Patrick and Felim, Cavan at 7pm Monday evening. Monsignor Michael’s funeral Mass will take place at 2 pm on Tuesday, followed by burial in the family plot in St. Bridget’s Cemetery, Killygarry.
Family flowers only, please. House private outside of reposing times.
