Nellie Arkins (née Daly)

Nellie Arkins (née Daly) died peacefully on Friday 17th October 2025 at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband, Luke; daughter, Rosetta; sisters, Peggy and Kitty; and brother, Janey.

Sadly missed by her loving daughters, Kathy and Evelyn; sons-in-law, Andy Kennedy and Kevin Loftus; grandchildren, Amber, Noah, Mia and Kara; sisters, Nan Harten, Molly Cooke; and brother, Jimmie Daly; sister-in-law, Carmel; nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Reilly's Funeral Home, Kilcogy (N39W1D6), on Sunday from 3pm, with prayers at 5pm.

Funeral Mass on Monday at 1 o'clock in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Mullahoran. Internment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
