Patrick O'Connor passed away on Tuesday, 4th November 2025, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and in the excellent care of the nurses and staff of Breffni Care Nursing home.
Predeceased by his parents Michael and Anne, brothers Jim, Douglas and Noel, and sisters Maura, Angela and Peggy.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife and best friend Therese, sons Kenneth (Gillian) and Karl, daughters Aoife (Joe Brady), Nicola (Garrett Galligan) and Laura (Jon Beer), brother Val and sister Bell. 11 adored grandchildren, brothers in law sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
May he rest in peace.
Patrick will be reposing at Lakelands funeral home, Dublin Road, Cavan H12 RF78 on Wednesday 5th November from 5pm until evening prayers at 7pm. Funeral mass on Thursday at 11am in St Brigid's Church, Killeshandra, Co. Cavan (H12 DD79) with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
