Peggy Smith (née Soraghan) passed away on Thursday June 5th.
Peacefully, at home surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her parents Con and Susan Soraghan and her nephew Cathal Miney.
Beloved wife and best friend of the late Connie and dear mother of Sinead (Gerry), Elaine (Ollie), Niamh (Tommy) and Alan. Her adored grandchildren Callum, Ruby, Luke, Néala, Croíadh, Órnagh and Fíadh. Sadly missed by her loving daughters, son, grandchildren, sisters Kathleen (John Miney), Dympna (P.J Dunne) and Sue (Brian Walsh), sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives and many friends.
May Peggy Rest in Peace.
Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, on Friday evening from 5.00pm until 8.00pm with removal on Saturday morning at 11.30am to St Matthew's Church, Crosskeys, to arrive for Requiem Mass at 12.00 noon with interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
