Philip O'Reilly passed away peacefully on Friday, December 12th 2025, in the loving care of the wonderful staff at Cairnhill Nursing Home, Bray, Co. Wicklow.
Predeceased by his parents, Philip and Anne O'Reilly; sister, Christina O'Malley; brother, Oliver; and brothers-in-law, Pat O'Malley and John Walsh.
Dearly loved and sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, Marita; their sons, David (Anna) and Brian; 2 adored grandsons, Russell and Frank; sisters, Marie Walsh and Breda Elliott; brother-in-law, Jim; nephews, nieces, his godson, Philip O'Malley; all his extended family and many friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at the home of his sister, Breda, and brother-in-law, Jim Elliott, "Rockwell House", Drumelis, Cavan on Monday evening from 5pm until 8pm. House private to family at all other times. Removal on Tuesday morning at 11am to the Cathedral Of S.s Patrick and Felim, Cavan, arriving for a Funeral Mass at 11.30am. Following Mass, the cortege will travel via Main St to St. Brigid's Cemetery, Killygarry for committal prayers and burial in the family plot.
