Rita (Marita) McAuliffe (née McKitterick) passed away on Monday 25th May 2026. Peacefully in the exceptional care, surrounded by her loving family at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.
Predeceased by her husband Maurice, parents; Phillip and Bridget, brothers; Danny and Tom.
Deeply regretted by her son Maurice (Sheila), daughters; Lynda (Hugh) and Nuala, grandchildren; Chanel, Aoife, Hugh and Sean, sister-in-law Anne, cousin, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Deery’s Funeral Home, Carrickmacross (A81 C653) on Tuesday from 4pm to 8pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to St. Michael’s Church, Corduff, (A81 X312) arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in adjoining new Cemetery.
