Rose (Rosemary) Hussey (née Boyle) died on Tuesday, 2nd June 2026, peacefully in the exceptional care of the management and staff of The Sheelin Nursing Home.
Predeceased by her parents; James and Kate, brothers; Pat and Joe, former husband Mel, daughter Caroline and granddaughter Lizzy.
Sadly missed by her sons; David (Luis) and Paul (Mary), grandchildren; Patrick (Niamh) Damian, Mickey, Linda, brothers; Kit (Mary), Ned (Carmel), sisters; Nancy (Terry), Biddy (Jim), nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing in Gibneys Funeral Home, Oldcastle (A82 D376) on Wednesday evening from 4:00 – 6:30pm, with removal to Sts. Brigid and Fiach's Church, Ballinacree, arriving at 7:00pm. Rose’s Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday morning at 11:00am followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.
