Seamus Mc Phillips died on Tuesday, June 2nd 2026, suddenly at home.
Predeceased by his parents James and Mary and his infant brother and sister, Boniface and Rose. Seamus was dearly loved and will be very sadly missed by his devoted wife and best friend Christine, his heartbroken daughters Margaret (Eoin), Rose (Gene) and Sarah, his adored grandchildren James, Emily, Adam and Holly, sisters, brother, nephews, nieces, all his extended family, good neighbours and many friends. May he rest in peace.
Seamus will repose at the McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd, Cavan (H12C821) on Friday evening from 5pm until 7pm. Removal from the Funeral Home on Saturday morning at 11.15am, travelling via Ardlougher, to St. Matthew's Church, Drumavaddy for a Funeral Mass at 12 noon.
A private family cremation will take place at a later date.
