Seamus Ruddy died on Monday, November 3rd 2025, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Mary, brother P.J. and son-in-law Declan.
Beloved husband and best friend of Anna and much loved father of Martina (Clare), Louise, Niall (Clíona), Maria (Pat) and Jean (Paul). Adoring grandad of Ella, Mollie, Dylan, Dara, Orla, Alfie, Declan and Lauren. Sadly missed by his sister, Vera Greenan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and many friends.
Reposing at Lakeland’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, tomorrow Tuesday from 5pm concluding with prayers at 7pm. Removal from his residence on Wednesday to arrive at St. Brigid’s Church, Killygarry for Funeral Mass at 12pm, burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private to family, neighbours and close friends.
