Sheila Carey (née McCooey) passed away on 29th May 2026 peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the tender care of the staff at Drumbear Lodge Nursing Home, Monaghan.
Dearly loved and sadly missed by her husband Tommy, devoted children Anne (Brian), Roger (Joleen), Patricia (Tom), Eamonn (Lis) and Brendan, her sister Rose (New Jersey, USA) grandchildren Paul, Rory, Ella, Seán, Clodagh, Bronagh, PJ and Fergal, and great-grandchildren Keelan and Caoimhe.

Remains arriving to The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Scotshouse on Saturday evening (30th May) at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday morning (31st May) at 10.30am, with burial immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
