Walter Bourgoin passed away on Tuesday, 6th January, 2026.
Predeceased by his parents, Jean and Marie-Joséphe.
Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Martina, children Jasmine, Alicia and André, sister Nelly Trasart, Aunt Marie- Madeleine (Daniel) Ardiet, Annette (Jean-Pierre) Thirion. His sisters-in-law Mary Mc Nally, Anna and Nora Sheridan, brothers-in-law Didier Trassart, Seamus Sheridan, Hugh Mc Nally, his nieces Lise, Niamh, Aine, Ava, and nephews Tom, Daniel, Connor, Adam, Ewan, Sean, and Donál, cousins Gregory (Christelle) Ardiet, Pierre-Jean (Sandrine) Thirion, Benjamin and Elise Thirion. His many cousins and amazing wonderful friends (Bérets), neighbours in both Ireland and France and his work colleagues in ESB.
May his most gentle of soul rest in eternal peace.
Reposing at Matthew’s Funeral Home, Virginia, Co. Cavan ( A82YV58) on Friday January 16th, from 5pm to 8.00pm.
Funeral mass at St. Dympna’s Church, Upper Lavey, Cavan (A82XW61) on Saturday 17th at 12 noon with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
