Nomad Coffee, billed as Bailieborough’s first speciality coffee trailer, has some big plans for the future.
However, founder David O’Gorman says they will never abandon the horse box which brings the “nomad” moniker to life.
Established in May of this year by David and his partner Stephanie Rahill, Nomad Coffee has been serving the people of Cavan at the weekends from the Bailieborough Shamrocks GAA pitch.
And while plans are afoot for a bricks and mortar store, David says the nearly nine-decade old, refurbished horsebox is here to stay.
David spoke to our reporter, Diarmuid Pepper, about the founding of Nomad coffee, the work that went into refurbishing the horsebox, plans for the future, and the local food scene that adds to the coffee experience:
