Leaving Cert students in Cavan and Monaghan, who may be still deciding their next step, have been encouraged to consider further education and training courses, traineeships and apprenticeship programmes.
The Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board is delivering a range of programmes and there are many opportunities for people to achieve their career ambitions.
The courses offer flexible, vocational learning that can include practical skills training and work experience, while enabling students to learn and earn.
Some of the FET courses offered in Cavan and Monaghan include Animal Care, Arts, Childcare, Business, Accountancy, Hair & Beauty, Engineering, Nursing & Healthcare, Creative Media, Sport, and Hospitality & Tourism, Science, Music, and Sound & Performing Arts.
Apprenticeship opportunities in Cavan and Monaghan are also available to explore and applications are open all year round in a wide range of industries.
