Funding for first responders equipment 'needed' in Cavan. A County Cavan Councillor is calling for additional funding across communities to be made available for the supply of defibrillators. Moreover, Sinn Fein's Noel Connell raised the matter at this week's sitting of Cavan County Council. Furthermore, Cllr Connell highlighted that he knows of two people locally; who recently benefited from first responders equipment. Indeed, he described it as a "miracle" that defibrillators were available in both instances. Cllr Connell outlined the cost associated with this equipment.
