Calls for 'something to be done' over Monaghan traffic. A local councillor has outlined his concerns over the lack of urgency regarding a bypass for Monaghan Town. Indeed, Fine Gael's Alan Johnston raised his concerns at this month's sitting of Monaghan County Council. Moreover, Cllr Johnston also highlighted the need for more affordable housing.
