12 people waiting on trolleys in Cavan Hospital

There are currently 12 people waiting on trolleys in Cavan General Hospital.

All 12 patients are waiting in the emergency department at the hospital with no patients on trolleys in wards or elsewhere in the facility.

The figures were released by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation Trolley Watch report this morning.

Nationally, 411 admitted patients are waiting for beds this morning.

282 patients are waiting in the emergency department, while 129 are in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
