150 people were waiting on trolleys in Cavan General Hospital during the month of May.
According to the INMO, this is an increase on April's figure of 128.
However it represents a decrease on the same time last year, when 180 patients were waiting in the emergency department of the hospital.
Compared to ten years ago, this May's figure is over double that of 2014, when 68 were waiting on a bed at the local hospital.
Nationally, 8,199 patients were waiting on trolleys in hospitals during the month of May.
