16 people are currently awaiting treatment on trolleys at Cavan General Hospital.

All 16 patients are in the Emergency Department. According to the latest INMO trolley watch figures, there are no patients on trolleys in wards elsewhere in the hospital.

Nationally, 490 admitted patients are waiting for beds this morning in hospitals across the country.

Of the total number of people waiting for beds, 316 are in emergency departments, while 174 are in wards.
