16 people are currently awaiting treatment on trolleys at Cavan General Hospital.
All 16 patients are in the Emergency Department. According to the latest INMO trolley watch figures, there are no patients on trolleys in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
Nationally, 428 admitted patients are waiting for beds this morning in hospitals across the country. The INMO says University Hospital Limerick accounts for the largest number of those with 91, followed by University Hospital Galway with 65 and Letterkenny University Hospital with 42.
Of the total number of people waiting for beds, 277 are in emergency departments, while 151 are in wards.
