17 people on Trolleys in Cavan General Hospital

There are currently 17 people waiting on trolleys in Cavan General Hospital.

That's according to figures released by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation this morning.

All 17 patients are waiting in the emergency department at the hospital with no patients on trolleys in wards or elsewhere in the facility.

Nationally, 759 admitted patients are waiting for beds this morning, according to today’s INMO Trolley Watch.

473 patients are waiting in the emergency department, while 286 are in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
