There are currently 18 people waiting on trolleys in Cavan General Hospital.
All 18 patients are waiting in the emergency department at the hospital with no patients on trolleys in wards or elsewhere in the facility.
The figures were released by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation Trolley Watch report this morning.

Nationally, 670 admitted patients are waiting for beds this morning, according to today’s INMO Trolley Watch.
419 patients are waiting in the emergency department, while 251 are in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
