There are currently 23 people waiting for beds in Cavan General Hospital this morning.
All 23 are waiting in the emergency department.
That’s according to figures released by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.

It has found that 599 patients are waiting for beds across Ireland this morning.
400 patients are waiting in the emergency department, while 199 are in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
