2,800 people work from home five days a week across Cavan and Monaghan.
That's according to new data released from the CSO that say that from the 63,000 workforce in April of 2022 in the region, 13,800 work from home at some stage throughout the week.
In Cavan Of those working from home, almost 1,700 did so for five days per week, with 1,444 doing so for one day and 1,283 for two days each week

While in Monaghan, workers were thus among the least likely to work from home, with just 21% doing so.
Of those working from home, almost 1,100 people did so for five days per week, with 1,131 doing so for one day and 914 for two days each week.
