Detectives investigating burglaries in the North Monaghan and Clones areas have charged three men to court. The burglaries took place on Wednesday the 30th of April in various areas across Co Monaghan and also in Northern Ireland.
The men, aged 46, 38 and 35, have all been charged with burglary. The suspects were detained at an address in Loughgall on Wednesday night and were questioned by detectives in connection with a burglary at a house on Madden Row in Keady, as well as on suspicion of possession of stolen goods believed to have been taken during burglaries in Co Monaghan.
A silver Mercedes, believed to have been used in the burglaries, has also been seized for examination. The three men are due to appear before Newry Magistrates Court today. As is usual procedure, all charges are reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
